SLS at Shura is a luxury resort of 150 accommodations designed by Foster + Partners. Noble Architecture executed the soffit of its Edo-era Japanese restaurant, using a fluid, organic roof language that mimics the natural environment.

Eucalyptus sticks create a dappled “shaded forest” light; their spacing filters the sun, reduces heat gain and keeps the connection to the outdoors, while the raw wood gives a tactile, high-end experience.
